Following this acquisition, UShareSoft has become Fujitsu’s European Research Center for Cloud Services and is now playing a strategic role in strengthening Fujitsu’s global software development capabilities for multi- cloud environments.

Position Description and Mission

As a UShareSoft Full Stack Engineer, you will join an international development team that is tasked to design, implement and deliver the core technology platform (UForge) features. This will include working on the complete platform stack; from low-level utilities and frameworks, database, web services and user interfaces. You will also work alongside the support teams on specific problems encountered by our customers.

Your Technical Expertise

  • You have experience coding in Java and C & are familiar with scripting langages (Python, Perl, Bash)
  • You are familiar with UI technologies such as GWT, CSS layout etc.
  • Have a good background of either Linux or Windows & are familiar with building restful web services,
  • Have had past experience with testing frameworks & had experience in unit testing (Junit, TestNG),
  • Understand agile development & have had some experience with continuous development and integration tools including Jenkins, Sonar, Maven and GIT.

In addition it would be a bonus if:

  • You have a good level of English (reading, writing and oral),
  • You’ve had past experience designing and building scalable and highly concurrent distributed systems,
  • You have experience with front-end technologies & you can create interactive dashboards,
  • You have had previous experience with customer-facing activities,
  • You are happy to adapt to new frameworks and technologies.

Experienced Computer Engineer in Support and Services

Position Description and Mission

As a member of the UShareSoft Professional Services team based in Grenoble, you will work together with the other UShareSoft and Fujitsu teams and their customers, in Europe, Japan or USA.

You will ensure technical support to customers with potential phone calls or through web conferences. You will take part in the UShareSoft products installation and training for customers. You will develop and manage custom software components in line with customer requirements. You will also take part in the Quality Assurance activities for UShareSoft products.

Your Technical Expertise

You have a Computer Science Degree (Bac+3 or Bac+5), a minimum of 5 years experience in customer support or software development, and:

  • Know about operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows),
  • Have experience coding in script languages (Bash, Perl, Python…), object-oriented languages (Java, PHP…), and REST services,
  • You are familiar with development tools and processes: continuous development and integration tools, Git, Maven, IDEs,
  • Are comfortable with system and network components: MySQL, Tomcat, Apache, OpenSSL, IPTables/firewalls
  • Know about virtualisation, para-virtualisation and Cloud mechanisms.

In addition it would be a bonus if:

  • You have some knowledge of network (level 2 and 3 hardware) and CISCO,
  • You know how to adapt your skills depending on the project,
  • You enjoy working within a team and foster exchanges between different teams,
  • You are happy to adapt to new frameworks and technologies.
